Your self-designed 1 on 1 retreat is your opportunity to , pause for a period, away from your everyday life and/or work in order to do just that, with conscious rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. The intention of your 1 on1 retreat is to engage in an intensive period of time to acquire and practice the skills necessary to successfully fulfill the goals you establish for yourself.
A minimum of 5 consecutive days is required to begin a tangiable shift in consciousness towards adopting a new way of being .
Scientifically speaking, It has been commonly believed in the “self help” world that “it takes about 21 days” to develop a new habit based on research by Dr.Maxwell Maltz conducted in the 1950’s. However, Phillippa Lally a health psychology researcher at University College London found that “On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic.” In truth, there are have been many different sincere studies done around the world on this subject with many different results.
The bottom line is; Realistically speaking, the time it takes for you to develop new habits and behaviors will depend solely upon you and the dedication you assign to your personal practice.

Through a junior high school janitor, who surprisingly turned out to be a Highly Decorated Martial Arts Sifu, Chokae’s meditation training began at the age of 11 and stems from various disciplines of natural health, including Martial Arts, Yoga, Native American Medicine, and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage. He is a Kriya Yoga Initiate, Massage Therapist, Native American Pipe Carrier, Hatha Yoga Coach, and Meditation Instructor. He is also a distinguished Humanistic Psychologist, Energy Worker, and Practical Mystic.
For over 20 years, Chokae' Kalekoa has participated as an international lecturer on the practical application of Daily Meditation, and Natural Healing with emphasis on the interconnection of body, mind and spirit. He has taught Hatha Yoga and Hosted Shut Your Monkey Meditation Workshops around the world; including the USA, the United Kingdom, Asia, the European Union, Africa and Polynesia.
Chokae’ Kalekoa has successfully blended Ancient Healing Techniques with his unique perspective on practical modern applications of Yoga, Traditional Medicine, and Meditation, to provide a vast audience with solutions that meet many needs for our modern age.
