"My daily practice consists of chanting, a Vinyasa form of asana and seated meditation. I find when I begin with chanting Divine names it opens me easily, surrenders me greatly and deepens my inward connection dramatically. The rest of my practice merely unfolds from this tuning in process. The practice to me is the practice (of living). I attempt to meet what life sends me on any given day in such a way that I join to it with as little resistance and as much openness as possible. ... I find that when I link the breath to the motion using salutations to usher me in and out of the poses energy channels open. This creates a greater circulatory flow within me. That flow carries me through my day aiding me in letting go into the flow of life. My practice culminates with a long sit to simply listen inward as I stay connected outward. My practice of yoga is to meet life as it meets me."  - Michelle

"My practice consists of mainly preparatory stretches to open surrounding muscles of the Shoulder Joint and Hip/Lower Back/ Hip Flexors. I spend lots of time working on isolating specific muscles that need attention. I am focused on advancing into poses that are within reach and that challenge me. I love where I am in my personal practice in that I know what I need to work on. Yoga and stretching are a ritual that brings me into aligning my Body, Mind, Spirit."         - Wayne

"All about my yoga practice is a focus . My guru said "Everything is yoga. " that makes sense as cooking , writing, reading , painting .... anything can be . Be present, living this moment ... that's most difficult and the hardest practice for me . Practicing hatha yoga is one of the ways that leads me to the point . Of course; just feel so good simply working on my body physically . Now holding my baby , watching his heart beat in no7 chakra and start my meditation. How calm it is. Love this moment." - Chika

i start each day with 15 minuntes of silent meditation. sometimes it's more. this time is when i connect with the calm that carries me through anything that happens during the day. anything that tries to shake me, move me or nock me off my center, i go back to my morning sitting meditation and remind myself, to. breath. suddenly i'm calm again. and ready to move on to my next task.  Ronney

"As I write this today I'm 8 days past a massive operation and I physically cannot do any yoga poses (or much of anything!). However, my practice is still with me, in how I sit, how I stand, how I close my eyes and find stillness for a moment. It is with me in the compassion I hope I bear for others and the patience I try to show myself. It has allowed me to see myself as strong, and allowed me to laugh when I fall over! I'm still itching to get back on the mat though"   -  Alison
