"My yoga practice has changed my perception of my own limitations. It has allowed me to rewrite my story. I no longer say “I can’t”, but instead, “maybe I can.” Maybe not now, but with practice, all things are possible. This revelation may have started with the physical asanas, but has evolved in all areas of my life. When I’m teaching, and before we begin meditation, I usually tell my students something like this, “ Let go of judgements and expectations. Let go of ‘could’ves’, ‘would’ves’ and ‘should’ves’. Making room for self love, self acceptance, which in turn leads to love and acceptance of others. When thoughts come in, acknowledge them, accept them and return your focus to your breath.” I believe that with practice and with our breath, we can turn our perceived limitations into limitless possibilities." - Linda (photo by Angelique Airington)
